The new season is underway for the Sydney Swans and this year there are changes to the way you can watch on TV.
Of course, the best way to watch is LIVE at the SCG (find tickets here), but we know not everyone can make it to the game.
Ensure you don’t miss a minute of the action by taking note below.
What is 7plus?
7plus is the Seven Network’s streaming service that is now broadcasting AFL games. You can download the app to watch from your smartphone or tablet. 7plus will feature all Seven Network games LIVE and Super Saturday games on delay.
What is Super Saturday and how is it different?
Under a new broadcast agreement, for the first 10 weeks of the season, Saturday men's premiership season games are only live on Fox Footy, available on Foxtel and Kayo.
If you don’t have access to Fox Footy, you can watch Saturday games free-to-air on 7mate and 7plus on a delayed basis.
When can I watch the game on free-to-air?
For Saturday day matches the game will be held back by 120 minutes from first bounce for the local audience.
For Saturday night matches, it will be held back by 90 minutes from bounce or 8:35pm local time (whichever is earlier).

I support the Sydney Swans but live in another state. How can I watch?
The game will be available on 7mate and 7plus in the states local to what team is playing (excluding Victorian teams).
Our interstate members will still need a Foxtel or Kayo subscription to view the game.
For example:
- In Round 1 against the Brisbane Lions NSW and QLD fans can stream the game on 7mate and 7plus (on delay).
- In Round 4 against North Melbourne, only fans based in NSW will be able to stream the game on 7mate and 7plus (on delay).
How do I keep up?
We’ll be updating our Match Day Hub every week with specific timings and available broadcast details. Bookmark THIS PAGE to stay up to date.
I’m an international supporter. Can I watch?
Yes! Coverage of select games can be streamed globally – subject to change.
