Thousands of Sydney Swans fans and members descended on Sydney Swans HQ this afternoon for Fan Day, presented by Volkswagen.

The red and white faithful didn’t let the rain keep them away, with fans enjoying the chance to meet their favourite AFL and AFLW players and get a signature.

It was a jam-packed afternoon, with young and old enjoying the activities on offer including face painting, a photo booth, writing letters to players, spin to win and kicking competitions. The wide range of activities and giveaways were made possible thanks to the support of Volkswagen, QBE, McDonalds, Bitcoin, Adora Fertility, realestate.com.au, Superhero, Ray White, Bibigo and Rainbow Swans.

Swans fans enjoyed a bite to eat next door at the Entertainment Quarter and kids were entertained all day by the roving magicians, stilt-walkers and mascots.

Defender James Jordon said the playing group appreciated the great turnout.

“It's awesome, you know, it's pretty miserable outside but for all the fans to still turn up, it's pretty cool and we look forward to getting around them all,” Jordon said.

“I think their support is enormous, I think last year you saw it and even the first few games at the SCG, they've packed that out.

“We love their support, coming out here and we love playing in front of them.”
