Sydney midfielder Isaac Heeney earnt four votes from the coaches following Friday night's loss to Collingwood.
Heeney was the lone Swan to poll votes in the 31-point defeat at Adelaide Oval, with the midfielder finishing with a team-high 28 disposals, 13 contested possessions, 8 clearances, 6 score involvements and two goals.
It is the first time Heeney has polled in the coaches votes this season.
The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
