Swans midfielder Isaac Heeney has earnt his first Goal of the Year nomination of 2025, for a brilliant snap from the pocket in the first quarter of Sydney's clash against Port Adelaide on Sunday.
Heeney kicked the Swans' opener, after gaining separation from Port's Willem Drew and crumbing a knockdown from forward Hayden Mclean.
The livewire midfielder gathered the ball and snapped the goal from the boundary line to give his side a much-needed boost.
Heeney recorded a strong performance in what was a disappointing afternoon for the Swans, the 28-year-old recording 22 disposals and kicking two majors.
