As the countdown to the 2025 AFLW Season continues, the AFL has today announced the schedule for AFLW Practice Matches and Match Simulation Trainings.
Sydney will take on GWS in match simulation training on Friday, July 25, at Tom Willis Oval.
The match will get underway at 1pm, and it will be the first of three games in-store for Swans fans, with the VFL derby to kick off at 3.35pm across the road at Engie Stadium, followed by the AFL match at 7.50pm.
In the match simulation, the format, number of players, game length and number of breaks will be agreed upon by both teams.
Sydney will then travel to Brisbane for an official practice match on Saturday, August 2 at 12.30pm at Brighton Homes Arena.
Both matches will be open to the public and free to attend.
The matches will be the first chance for fans to get a glimpse of the team and its new recruits ahead of Round 1 against Richmond on Friday, August 15 at North Sydney Oval.
Teams will be announced by the AFL at 5:30pm AEST the day before each Practice Match.
