Isaac Heeney flew high on Saturday night and with his first touch of 2019 earned a nomination for Mark of the Year.
Heeney, who won the 2018 Mark of the Year with his famous grab against Melbourne at the MCG, took no time in pushing for back-to-back titles, leaping to new heights with a sensational grab in the opening minutes.
Richmond's Jack Riewoldt and Fremantle's Joel Hamling have also been nominated in the opening round.
