The Sydney Swans have shown some interest in Brisbane Lions forward Lewis Taylor and Adelaide Crows midfielder Riley Knight.
The Telstra AFL Trade Period commenced on Monday and will run through until 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 16.
Taylor has played 112 games for Brisbane since making his debut in 2014, winning the AFL Rising Star award in his first season.
Knight is a versatile midfielder with high endurance levels who has played 54 games for the Crows over the last five seasons.
CEO Tom Harley said both players were on the Swans radar entering the player exchange period.
“There is definitely an interest, we have had conversations with both Lewis and Riley,” Harley said.
“With the player movement period now you have to have irons in a number of fires because things can fall a certain way that you might not expected.”
“I wouldn’t say they are right at the top of business at the moment as we clearly have some things on our plate at the minute but clearly there is an interest there.”
