Sydney Swans half-back Jake Lloyd has topped the AFL Coaches’ Association’s Champion Player of the Year award votes for Saturday’s clash with Fremantle.

The reigning Club Champion gathered 42 possessions and eight marks to earn eight votes after Sydney’s one-point loss.

Swans duo (four) and Dane Rampe (two) collected the remainder of the votes, while the Dockers’ Rory Lobb, David Mundy, Bradley Hill, Reece Conca and Sean Darcy were also among the best.

Meanwhile, Lloyd has been selected in AFL.com.au’s Round 18 Team of the Week.
