QBE Sydney Swans Academy young gun Cooper McClennan is thriving on the opportunity of being coached by greats of the game.

Sydney Swans premiership heroes Jared Crouch and Nick Davis are nurturing the stars of tomorrow, and promising under-14s midfielder McClennan says his game has soared under the guidance of the champion duo.

“I feel the coaches have been giving me really good tips, like how to get the ball, talking, running off the handball, leading and timing my run,” McLennan told SwansTV.

“And that’s just helped me get so many more touches. I’m going from a 15-possession player to a 30-possession player, and I’m enjoying my footy a lot now.”
