Three young girls with enormous passion for the Sydney Swans have enjoyed a morning to savour, meeting star players Jarrad McVeigh, Dane Rampe and Isaac Heeney and touring the SCG.
A trio of Randwick Public School students asked McVeigh and Rampe a host of questions after an open training session on Tuesday morning.
They had always wondered what the star Swans duo would eat pre-game, what their favourite ground is outside the SCG and what their best advice is for young, budding footballers – and on the SCG boundary the girls got their answers.
They also received a glimpse of the coaches’ room, change rooms, the view from the top tier of the Brewongle Stand and even the premiership cups.
The girls then watched on from the bench as the likes of McVeigh, Rampe, Heeney and Josh Kennedy prepared for Saturday’s massive clash with Hawthorn at the SCG.
