Four Sydney Swans players earned AFL Coaches Association’s Champion Player of the Year votes in the side’s seven-point win over the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Midfielder Isaac Heeney collected a game-high eight votes in a stellar performance marked with two goals and 20 disposals.
On-baller Luke Parker (three goals, 21 disposals) was another of the Swans’ best and registered four votes, while defender Dane Rampe (23 touches) earned three votes.
Forward Lance Franklin bagged three goals and finished with 16 disposals and 10 marks to collect two votes and remains the highest-placed Swan on the leaderboard after four rounds.
The Bulldogs’ Jack Macrae (five votes), Aaron Naughton (four), Toby McLean (two), Matthew Suckling (one) and Bailey Williams (one) also impressed.
