The Sydney Swans will get the ANZAC Round of the AFL underway on Friday night against Adelaide at the SCG.
The match will include an Observance Ceremony comprising The Ode, Last Post, Minute Silence, The Rouse and National Anthem.
The Observance Ceremony will commence at 7.40pm and the game will kick off at 7:50.
April 25 is a day we all pause to remember those who have fought and died for our nation in armed conflict.
Across the Boer War, World War 1 and World War II, hundreds of footballers answered the nation's call to fight.
Among them, 20 made the ultimate sacrifice after playing in the red and white.
They remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.
Lest We Forget.
