Lance Franklin has been cleared by the Match Review Panel to play in Friday night's clash with Essendon, penalised with a fine for a bump on Richmond's Conor Menadue in last weekend's clash at the MCG.
But the Sydney Swans haven't escaped fully with Zak Jones suspended for one match for striking.
The Sydney Swans duo were both charged for separate incidents stemming from Saturday's come-from-behind win.
Franklin can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea after being reported on the spot for engaging in rough conduct against Menadue during the second quarter.
The incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head and originally classified as a $1500 sanction but was downgraded due to Franklin having no applicable record.
Meanwhile, Jones' striking charge against Tiger Dan Butler during the third quarter of Saturday's clash was lowered from two weeks down to a one-match suspension with an early plea.
The offence was deemed as intentional contact with low impact to the head.
