Sydney Swans fans in their thousands braved the wet conditions to help celebrate the start of the season at the 2017 Fan Day, presented by Volkswagen.
The rain failed to dampen the spirits of nearly 2000 supporters and members who flocked to the SCG's M.A. Noble Stand for a morning of fun and festivities on Saturday.
Easily the most popular part of the day was the autograph station.
Split into two time slots, the entire playing group signed everything from caps, scarves, jumpers, flags, posters ... whatever supporters bought along with them.
Some fans also took the opportunity to grab a photo or simply have a chat with their favourite Swans including captain Josh Kennedy, the ever colourful Dane Rampe and the star himself Lance Franklin.
Over at Volkswagen Fan Zone, there were kicking and handball challenges while there was free face painting and balloon animals.
Charity partner Redkite was also on hand alongside the Swans' merchandise and membership marquees where the member tally was front and centre.
As the morning passed, the numbers ticked ever so closer the magical 50,000-mark.
Last year the Sydney Swans surpassed 50k members for the very first time and, considering it's only March, that record looks set to be blown out of the water in 2017.
Walking through the main area one couldn't miss the longest queue of them all leading to a marquee hosted by new sponsor Qatar Airways. Fans were offered the chance to get a group shot with some of the Sydney Swans' biggest names including Jarrad McVeigh and Aliir Aliir.
The Rainbow Swans, Black Swans and Cheersquad had a strong presence with the LGBTI supporter group signing their 200th member.
It was difficult to tell who had more photo opps during the day - beloved mascot Cyggy or long-time supporter Kenny.
Always happy to mingle with his fellow supporters, Kenny spent most of the morning signing autographs and posing for photos with people who couldn't wait to meet the vocal leader of the winner's circle.
