White replaces Mumford
UPDATE: Jesse White has come in to replace Shane Mumford against Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday night
Mumford did not travel on Friday afternoon’s flight to Melbourne with the rest of the Sydney Swans team after pulling up with groin soreness following Thursday’s final training session.
White, who has 56 career games with the club, will take to the field with the senior side for the first time since round seven last year when the Swans went down to Richmond at the MCG.
For the second week in a row, Jed Lamb will start as the Sydney Swans substitute.
For Hawthorn, Brent Guerra is a late withdrawal from the selected side, replaced by ruckman Max Bailey. Jonathan Simpkin is their starting sub.
