SQUAD: Tippett, Rohan return

Kurt Tippett and Gary Rohan have been added to the Sydney Swans extended squad to take on North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Kurt Tippett and Gary Rohan have been added to the Sydney Swans extended squad to take on North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The pair will aim to prove their fitness at Friday’s final training session pressing their claims for selection in the final side.

Tippett has missed two weeks of football after injuring his hip during a training drill ahead of the Round 6 match against Carlton.

Rohan missed just one week after recovering from concussion suffered in a sickening collision against Carlton.

Nic Newman has also been added to the squad after gathering 30 disposals and eight marks against Brisbane in last weekend’s NEAFL curtain raiser.

The final team of 22 will be named at 5pm on Friday afternoon at sydneyswans.com.au
