The Sydney Swans Football Club would like to thank our loyal and passionate fans for their ongoing support during a record-breaking 2017 season.
It was a history making season both on and off the field with record membership, record crowds and becoming the first side to make the finals from a 0-6 start.
Vice-captain Luke Parker took the opportunity to thank fans for their amazing support.
“They have been sensational all year,” Parker said.
“To have a record-breaking crowd in finals, for them to stick by us through the start of the season and show their passion and love for this club is incredible.
“We can’t thank Swans fans enough for the atmosphere, the enthusiasm and support they bring for us and it is amazing to be part of.”
The Sydney Swans smashed the Club’s all-time membership record in season 2017 with 58,838 fans signing on as members.
A new record was set for total attendees at Swans games across the home-and-away season, while a crowd of 46,323 turned out at the SCG for the Elimination Final win over Essendon which was a record crowd for an AFL game at the venue.
