The Sydney Swans will head into the final day of the Telstra AFL Trade Period with a number of deals still up in the air. 

Deals involving Tom Papley, Zak Jones, Lewis Taylor and Joe Daniher are all still yet to be finalised with just 24 hours remaining in the exchange period.

All 18 clubs will meet at Marvel Stadium on Wednesday for final negotiations with the trade deadline set down for 7.30pm.

Negotiations have continued with Essendon in regard to Daniher who earlier this trade period nominated Sydney as his preferred destination.

Papley and Jones have both indicated a desire to return home to Victoria for varying reasons nominating Carlton and St Kilda respectively.

The Swans have also be looking to do a deal with out of contract Brisbane Lions small forward Lewis Taylor who has had conversations with the Club.

On Tuesday the Swans completed their first trade of the 2019 AFL Trade Period with ruckman Darcy Cameron heading to Collingwood in exchange for pick 56.

Sydney will enter the final day of the trade period with the following draft selections – 5, 25, 44, 54, 56, 63 and 81.
