Redkite ambassadors Harry Cunningham and Dean Towers put smiles on the faces of kids at the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick last week.
The Swans players visited the hospital as part of the Club’s ongoing support of the Redkite Music Therapy Program.
Both Dean and Harry assisted a qualified practitioner by playing musical instruments, listening to music, writing songs and performing dance routines with young patients and their families.
The Swans will continue to visit the SCH and take part in the program on a monthly basis.
Music therapy gives children and young people an enjoyable, supportive and creative environment where they can express themselves. It helps them to regain a sense of control and stimulate important areas of growth and development.
