Consecutive best on ground performances has seen star midfielder Dan Hannebery surge to the top of the leaderboard in the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year award.
Hannebery collected the most votes of any player on the ground on Friday night (nine) for his 34 disposals performance against North Melbourne.
Goodes-O'Loughlin medallist Tom Mitchell took away eight votes from the coaches after collecting 41 disposals along with ten tackles.
Fellow midfielder Josh Kennedy (35 disposals and 12 tackles) also received high praise from Brad Scott and John Longmire as he collected 7 votes.
Jarrad McVeigh (two votes) and Kurt Tippett (two votes) rounded out the award with Ben Cunnington receiving the only votes for a North Melbourne player.
