The Sydney Swans have upgraded midfielder Jordan Foote to the Club’s primary list in place of injured big man Kurt Tipppett.
Tippett was placed on the long-term injury list following surgery to repair his injured hamstring tendon.
Selected at pick 76 in the 2014 rookie draft the 20-year old has shown consistent form at NEAFL level this season.
Another Swans Acadmy product the hardened midfielder has shown he can win his own football and use it on the outside.
General Manager of Football Tom Harley said Foote had earned the chance to be considered for senior selection.
"It is great news for Jordan, he is a second year rookie for us and a Swans Academy graduate.”
“One thing we do know is that Jordan is now in the frame for selection.”
“He has done a lot right, his form in the NEAFL has been outstanding and he really has been knocking the door down.”
“It is a good story for Jordan, a good story for New South Wales footy and we look forward to seeing how his career progresses from here.”
