The Swans have come through their bruising encounter with Geelong unscathed, with Club physiotherapist Matt Cameron pleased to report there were no new injuries out of last weekend’s historic win.

Nick Malceski was a late withdrawal from the team with soreness, but Cameron expects the defender to train this week and be in contention for the weekend.

“He should be able to train this week, and if all goes well, he’ll be available,” he said.

Andrejs Everitt, who was a chance to play last weekend, will now resume in the reserves this Saturday after being out with a calf injury.

Lewis Roberts-Thomson, who has also had calf trouble, will need to get the all-clear after this week’s training before he can play again.

“We decided to hold (Andrejs) off and give him another week of training in order for him to have a greater role, in terms of game time, this weekend and going forward,” Cameron told SwansTV.

“We decided not to proceed with (Roberts-Thomson’s) test last Thursday, so we’ve postponed that to this week.”

Lewis Johnston could also be in line to return this weekend following a rolled ankle and will face a fitness test at training on Thursday.

Ruckman Daniel Currie’s injured foot hasn’t progressed over the last week and he is unlikely to feature again in 2011.

“We’re letting him now just work on his injuries and get ready for the off-season,” Cameron said.
