It all started in the middle.
Kurt Tippett contests the ruck contest with Adelaide’s Sam Jacobs. The ball spills out.
Dan Hannebery, keen to get his hands on the footy yet again, intercepts a handball and passes the footy to Luke Parker.
Parker puts the foot down and weaves his way through traffic, beating three Adelaide defenders before sending the ball long into the forward to a one-on-one contest between Isaac Heeney and Kyle Cheney.
Heeney, who looked out of position at first, creates a contest and spillage. He was the first to the ball and with defenders descending on him quickly uses his skills to get the ball to Ben McGlynn.
McGlynn receives the footy at full pace before running into an open goal to seal this round’s Goal of the Week.
McGlynn finished the match with two goals while Heeney starred with four of his own.
The 19-year-old rising star also earned Round 4’s Mark of the Week – watch it here.
