Amon Buchanan has accepted a four-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct offence during the second quarter of the Round 15 match between Sydney and Hawthorn.

The Swans will also be without Nick Davis and Tim Schmidt, both of whom require knee surgery.

Davis left the field after a tackle in the first quarter of the Swans Reserves' match against Eastlake at Manuka over last weekend.  The forward suffered a dislocated kneecap and ruptured medial ligament, which neccessitate corrective surgery.

Meanwhile, Schmidt suffered knee soreness after Sunday's Reserves match.  Tests this week revealed cartlidge damage, which requires arthroscopic surgery.  

Schmidt and Davis will both miss the rest of the 2008 football season.
