Sydney Swans players have begun their end of season break, but not before undergoing two days of extensive review meetings.

The entire playing list will enjoy an extended break after their season finished with a loss to North Melbourne last Saturday night.

Players attended a number of meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday with coaches, doctors and high performance staff.

The first to third-year players will return for preseason training on November 23 with the remainder of the playing list to returning on December 3.

It will be a busy off-season period for the Club’s list management group following the retirement of Rhyce Shaw and Adam Goodes.

Speedster Lewis Jetta has also requested a trade home to Western Australia to be closer to his family.

The AFL recently clarified the trade restrictions placed on the club for the upcoming exchange period, beginning on October 12.

The Swans will be permitted to replace an outgoing player, as either a free agent or as part of a trade, with a contract offer of up to $450,000 per year.
