Veteran Adam Goodes will decide on his playing future at the conclusion of the 2015 season.

General Manager of Football Tom Harley confirmed the Swans star has decided to leave any decision on his playing career untill the conclusion of the Swans’ current finals campaign.

“Goodsey has had really honest conversations with John and just wants to enjoy his football,” Harley said.

“He has said he will put any discussions about the future off until the end of the year.

“Adam has been a champion of the football club and has always been open and honest with us about what his plans are.”

Goodes was one of the best performers against Fremantle at Domain Stadium on Saturday, turning back the clock through the midfield in his 27^th career final.

He collected 25 disposals, seven marks and laid five tackles against the Dockers as he moved up the field in the absence of a number of star midfielders.

Harley said it was pleasing to see the 35-year-old continuing to run around at full flight.

“He is playing pretty good footy at the moment and he was one of our better contributors over at Domain on Saturday afternoon,” he said.

“We are enjoying what Adam is doing at the moment and we will sit down with him at the end of the year.”

The club announced on Tuesday key defender Ted Richards would play on in 2016 after signing a new one year deal.
