Key tall Sam Reid looks to have torn his right hamstring early in the first qualifying final at Doman Stadium.

Reid was one of the Swans' best players and had booted their only goal before he was injured six minutes into the second term.

He was subbed out immediately.

It left the Swans hopelessly undermanned in the key forward department after Lance Franklin was pulled out of the team early in the week with mental health issues.

Key midfielders Kieren Jack (knee) and Luke Parker (leg) also missed the game through injury. 

Substitute Zak Jones replaced Reid.
