LAST WEEK’S NEWS
31 disposals, 11 marks, 5 tackles and 5 goals… adds up to a massive 166 points which made many Fantasy coaches happy (like me) after the mighty Luke Parker (MID, $530,000) went bananas on the weekend. He was simply amazing and seems to have his season back on track after scoring 120 two weeks back.
Ben McGlynn (MID, $500,000) had his best game for the year with 110pts and although he was slightly inaccurate, Lance Franklin (FWD, $504,000) chipped in with a handy 108pts kicking four goals from nine attempts.
Dan Hanneberry (MID, $551,000) got back among the points (99) along with Jarrad McVeigh (MID, $541,000) who scored 92 and has been a picture of consistency, not dropping under the 90 mark so far this season.
ON THE RADAR
I know I mentioned him last week, but Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $491,000) must get into your Fantasy team very soon. He scored 121 on the weekend and is now ranked as the third best averaging forward over the last three weeks after scores of 121, 101 and 113. Josh Kennedy (MID, $561,000) is currently owned by only 7% of Fantasy coaches and must be on your radar as well. After a slow start to the year, he is currently down $34,000 on his starting price but has averaged 119 over the last three weeks.
TOP 5 SCORERS
#1 – 166 Luke Parker (MID, $530,000)
#2 – 121 Josh Kennedy (MID, $561,000)
#3 – 121 Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $491,000)
#4 – 110 Ben McGlynn (MID, $500,000)
#5 – 108 Lance Franklin (FWD, $504,000)
WHAT’S COMING UP
This week the Swans head back to the MCG to meet the Hawks. Josh Kennedy has a great record against his old team and has scored 100, 101 and 139 against them in his last three games. Keep an eye on him, because he’ll be great again.
All the best for this week and please kick straight Buddy!
