Swans fans have had their say, and Gary Rohan’s goal which kick-started the famous round 23 victory over Geelong has been voted the SwansTV Play of the Year for 2011.

With Geelong already having a goal on the board and the ball in their attacking 50, early signs didn’t look great for the Swans. A quick kick out of defence and some good body work by Rohan, led to the Swans speedster pouncing on the loose ball and sprinting past Paul Chapman, taking two bounces, running his full measure and kicking a brilliant goal from just inside 50.

The exuberant celebration which followed capped off a phenomenal solo effort by Rohan and set the scene for a landmark afternoon where the Swans would become the first team to win in Geelong in four years.
