The Sydney Swans first to fourth year players have embarked on a three-day development camp in Narrabeen, north of Sydney.
Based out of the Sydney Sports Academy the players will hone their skills in the heat, test their mental toughness and learn more about one another.
The players will test themselves on the high ropes course, kayak course and fire trail walks throughout the camp.
It will also be a chance to get two intensive skill sessions in under the warm Sydney sun with temperatures set to soar as high as 37 degrees.
NEAFL Coach Rhyce Shaw said it was a chance for the players to undertake their pre-season training in different surroundings.
“It is a good opportunity to get away from our normal environment and the development group to spend time together,” Shaw said.
“With nine new players coming into the club over the last few weeks it is a great chance for them to get to know their new teammates.”
“There will be a number of sessions over the next few days that will test the boys and provide them the platform to learn more about each other.
