They Sydney Swans have wrapped up their Community Camp in Coffs Harbour, after three days of training and community activities. The squad endured some tough sessions in humid conditions as well as doing their regular weights sessions and enjoying recovery sessions at Diggers Beach.
Also joining the team at their training sessions were several members of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy – Coffs Harbour region who ran drinks and took in as much as they could during the experience.

Community involvement was a key aspect of the visit and players, coaches and staff participated in an array of activities in the region.
With the state dealing with a current bushfire crisis, players and staff visited the Coffs Harbour Rural Fire Service headquarters on Wednesday morning, meeting team manager Sean McArdle who talked about the current situation. Players met with volunteers and they were presented some signed team guernseys.
Some of our coaches and staff also ventured to Ebor (two hours from Coffs Harbour) to volunteer for BlazeAid, who are a volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. The group assisted locals in fixing fences which had been destroyed by fire.
The Sydney Swans Foundation has donated $5000 to BlazeAid and some of our coaches & staff today volunteered for BlazeAid in bushfire-affected areas, several hours away from our community camp in Coffs Harbour. pic.twitter.com/G2KPgasYes
