The Sydney Swans would like to thank the amazing response of our fans in supporting our bushfire relief efforts through the set up of a collection point for Foodbank NSW & ACT to be set up throughout this week.
Over the first two days of the collection point we have received plenty of generous donations for delivery.
But it isn't too late to help!
We are collecting donations of non-perishable food and other essential grocery items for Foodbank, who are delivering essential supplies to those impacted by the fires.
We have been in direct contact with Foodbank and they are accepting donations of the items listed below.
Items in high demand:
- Bottled water
- Good quality tinned food and meals (with ring pulls)
- Noodles, pasta, and rice
- Long life milk and cereal
- Muesli bars and snacks
- Deodorant, soap and body wash
- Shampoo, conditioner and sanitary items
- Baby food and formula
- Pet food
Staff will continue to be on hand to collect your donations from Wednesday January 15 – Thursday January 16 between 3pm and 6pm at the Royal Hall of Industries, Moore Park. Enter via Errol Flynn Blvd.
We will then coordinate the delivery of these donations to the Foodbank depot in Glendenning.
