Sydney Swans third-gamer Ben Ronke and teammate Luke Parker have made AFL.com.au’s Round 8 Team of the Week.
The two Swans starred in Sydney’s come-from-behind eight-point win over Hawthorn at the MCG last Friday.
Ronke became the youngest Swan since Silvio Foschini in 1982 to boot seven goals in a game and the first player in VFL-AFL history to record seven goals and 10 tackles in a match.
The 20-year-old lines up alongside Hawthorn’s Jack Gunston and Melbourne’s Tom McDonald in Team of the Week’s front three.
Parker collected 28 touches and kicked his second of two goals late in the final term to hand the Swans the lead.
The reigning Bob Skilton Medallist joins Carlton’s Ed Curnow, North Melbourne’s Ben Jacobs and Richmond’s Josh Caddy on the interchange bench.
