Some big-name guests gathered in one room on Thursday to throw their support behind an organisation existing to provide "empowerment through education."
The GO Foundation, fronted by founders and non-executive directors Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin, hosted its annual The Big Lunch at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney with the aim of raising valuable funds.
The foundation provides scholarships to Indigenous students.
The luncheon, attended by Sydney Swans players including Lance Franklin, Dane Rampe and Shaun Edwards, was held in the lead up to Friday night's Marn Grook at the SCG and the AFL's Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round.
Foundation founders and non-executive directors Michael O'Loughlin and Adam Goodes, as always, the star attractions at Thursday's Big Lunch.
Rookie Shaun Edwards took a break from his playing duties to be a special guest.
As did Lance 'Buddy' Franklin.
Adam Gilchrist was all ears during Thursday's luncheon.
He was a guest panellist in an event that raised valuable funds for the Goodes-O'Loughlin Foundation.
