Sydney Swans players returned to training on Monday after an eight-week hiatus on the season following the industry stoppage announced by the AFL on March 23.
Players today began non-contact training in groups of up to eight before that is increased to full-scale training, with two sessions a week, from May 25.
The players will take part in a 3.5 week training block before the season resumes on June 11.
Coach John Longmire said he was looking forward to the return of the playing group to the Club on Monday.
"We are really looking forward to it, it has been a tough few months," Longmire told Big Sports Breakfast.
"It is just good to have the players back in, whilst they are in small groups of eight, they are at least back in, filtering around and you can talk to them.
"As you can imagine in all sporting organisations you miss the banter and the chat so it is great to have them on board."
