Thursday saw the release of the 2015 fixture, with the Swans reserves set to play seven games as curtain raisers to the senior side, including on two away fixtures – round nine (AFL round 10) against the Gold Coast Suns reserves at Metricon Stadium and round 20 (AFL round 21) against UWS at Spotless Stadium, with the possibility round 14 (AFL round 15) against the Brisbane Lions reserves could eventually be moved to the Gabba.
Another clash with the Suns has been scheduled for ANZAC Day in Mackay, while Newcastle will also get to see the Swans in action in a home game against the Lions on May 30.
The Swans season will begin against Ainslie at Ainslie Oval on April 11, while other highlights include a night match against Sydney Uni at Drummoyne Oval following the seniors SCG game against the Western Bulldogs earlier in the afternoon, and a trip to Darwin to face NT Thunder.
The Swans home and away season culminates in a rematch of the 2014 Grand Final against Aspley at Graham Road Oval.
The 2014 NEAFL Finals series begins on the weekend of September 5/6 with the Grand Final to be played a fortnight later on September 19/20.
