The Sydney Swans will make their final preparations ahead of the 2014 home and away season this weekend, when the team travels north to take on the Brisbane Lions in Burpengary on Saturday.
Saturday’s match will be the team’s final pre-season hit out before the regular season kicks off for the Swans the following weekend against GWS on Saturday, March 15.
The Swans have named a strong side for Saturday's match, with co-captains Kieren Jack and Jarrad McVeigh as well as Josh Kennedy, Ben McGlynn, Ted Richards and Tom Mitchell all returning to the side after being rested in last week's NAB Challenge clash against West Coast.
New recruits Lance Franklin, Jeremy Laidler and Tom Derickx have also been named for this weekend's match as well as 2013 draftees Toby Nankervis and Zak Jones.

Parking:
No parking or drop-off areas will be available at the event venue, or in surrounding streets.
Public Transport:
Free shuttle bus services will operate from Morayfield Train Station between 10.30am and 7.00pm on Saturday March 8.
Ticket holders are encouraged to catch public transport to Morayfield Train Station using their go card or by purchasing a ticket.
Festival of Football
The Swans vs Lions practice match will be the feature game of Brisbane’s ‘Festival of Football’. Gates open at 11am.
