Fantasy review: round 14
See who afl.com.au Traders thought stood out for the Swans on Friday
It may have been a scrappy game that has plenty of commentators calling for change, but we saw plenty of Fantasy points from our stars – especially from the Tigers.
MID/FWD Dustin Martin (128) is having his best season to date posting his sixth ton in a row to take his average to over 100. Martin collected 22 kicks and 14 handballs to be the leading disposal winner on the ground.
With 52 points in the first quarter, Trent Cotchin (121) was later tagged by Craig Bird (64), with the Swan keeping him relatively quiet for the remainder of the game, including just one disposal in the last quarter. Unfortunately for coaches with Bird, he sacrificed his own game in his attempt to shut down the Richmond captain.
Anthony Miles (117) was a popular inclusion this week at $307,055. His third game for the Tigers was his best since being upgraded from the rookie list and it doesn’t look like the midfielder is leaving Richmond’s best 22 anytime soon.
Midfielder Josh P. Kennedy (107), FWD/MID Luke Parker (102) and underrated cash cow Harry Cunningham (100) were the best for the victorious Swans. Forward Lance Franklin (98) kicked four goals to keep his price heading north.
Starting in the green substitute vest, Zak Jones (47) made immediate impact when he came into the game. The first round draft pick and brother of Nathan scored 39 points in the last quarter, the second most of any player on the ground.
