Dan’s perfect 10 against Lions
Dan Hannebery’s 32-disposal game against the Brisbane Lions on Sunday received the maximum amount of votes from both coaches
Both John Longmire and Michael Voss voted Hannebery as the best player on the ground in the Swans 10-goal win over Brisbane, with the 22-year-old now in fourth position in the Award’s voting on 28 votes, behind Essendon captain Jobe Watson (35 votes) and Port Adelaide pair Travis Boak and Hamish Hartlett (tied on 30 votes).
Swans co-captain Kieren Jack was awarded six votes for his output of 29 disposals, five tackles and nine inside 50s and is placed one vote behind Hannebery in voting, tied with Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield and Port tall Justin Westhoff.
Nick Malceski (27 disposals, eight inside 50s and seven rebound 50s) received the same amount of votes as Jack, while Ryan O’Keefe (29 disposals, 18 of which were contested, and seven clearances) received five votes from the coaches.
Heath Grundy’s game on Jonathan Brown saw him register two votes, with Jarrad McVeigh finishing with one vote in his 200th AFL game.
