SCG ready for round four
The Sydney Swans will host North Melbourne in the first game back at the redeveloped SCG in round 4
The Swans will host North Melbourne in an early Sunday afternoon fixture on April 13 in the first AFL match back at the soon-to-be completed 48,000 stadium.

High profile matches against last year’s finalists Fremantle (Rd 5), Geelong (Rd 11), Port Adelaide (Rd 13) and Carlton (Rd 17), as well as the high-drawing Essendon (Rd 19), will ensure the new northern end of the ground – which includes the 13,500 capacity MA Noble, Don Bradman and Dally Messenger Stands – gets a solid workout throughout 2014.
The SCG will hosts its second Sydney Derby – and its first under lights - in round 15 when GWS visit on June 28, while St Kilda will round out the season on an August Saturday afternoon in round 21.
ANZ Stadium will get the chance to again showcase the Sydney Swans in blockbuster matches in 2014 when the stadium plays host to three tantalising fixtures.
The AFL season kicks off at the venue in round two with the Swans first home match of the season – the annual ANZ Stadium clash against Collingwood – to be played there on March 29.
Reigning premiers Hawthorn are the next side to visit for a Friday night match in round 8 in what is sure to be a must-watch match, with the potential of Lance Franklin facing his former club for the first time.
The Swans will play host to Richmond in round 23 on the eve of the 20134 finals series.
