Defender Heath Grundy was one of the Swans best players in Saturday night's loss to Adelaide, highlighted by his last quarter smother on the Crows' Bernie Vince which has been awarded the SwansTV Play of the Day for round 15.

Grundy initially affected a spoil on Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs 60 metres out from his defensive goal, before a scrappy piece of play end with the ball in the hands of Adelaide second-gamer Ian Callinan.

With the Crows up by six points and only 12 minutes remaining, Callinan threw the ball on his left foot towards a one-on-one contest between Jesse White and Bernie Vince.

Vince was able to beat White to the ball, and just when it looked as though he would put through the goal and seal the match for the Crows, Grundy appeared from nowhere and launched his whole body at the ball to save a goal and deflect the ball out of bounds.

Similar to teammate Jude Bolton, Grundy's efforts on Saturday night didn't deserve to be on the wrong end of the scoreboard, but unfortunately the Crows held on to win by seven-points.

In terrible conditions, the Swans were still able to showcase some flair, captured in SwansTV's Handpicked Highlights.
