This Friday night’s blockbuster against reigning premier Geelong will see tickets to the SCG sell out.

Demand for tickets to the first of three successive Swans home games has been enormous and everyone at the club wants to make sure each seat in the stadium is used.

“It’s an important game for us; Friday night footy at the SCG against the reigning premiers, it doesn’t get much bigger,” Swans coach John Longmire said.

“What’s also important is that everyone who can get to the game on Friday night does. Geelong always travel with a big contingent, but at our home ground, we need to make sure there’s a huge red and white showing who pack the stands and bring the noise throughout the four quarters.”

For those Swans reserved seat members who can’t get to the game on Friday night, there are a few options available to you to help ensure that your seats are filled at the biggest SCG game of the season.

1.    Lease it back to the Club. Reserved seat holders have until Wednesday 5pm to lease their seat back to the Club so we can sell it on to another passionate Swans supporter. By leasing your seat, members will gain membership credits towards their 2013 membership. Find out more here.

2.    Pass your membership tickets on to friends or family. Membership cards are transferrable.

3.    If Friday’s game is a bit late for the kids, you can bring friends instead by upgrading junior membership cards to adult tickets at the Sydney Swans Service Office. Upgrades cost $30.

Due to the expected crowd on Friday night, it is recommended that fans arrive early for the match. Gates open at 4.05pm with the Sydney Swans reserves taking on Sydney Uni from 4.10pm.

Heavy traffic is also expected around the SCG on Friday night, so fans are urged to leave their car at home and take public transport or walk to the SCG.

Visit the Sydney Swans Match Day Information page for full details on the public transport services available to and from the SCG on Friday night.

Limited tickets are still available for the match against Geelong, and can be purchased here.

If you miss out on tickets, a limited number of membership packages are still available to give you access to Friday’s match. The Blockbuster Pass includes three of our biggest games - Geelong, GWS and Collingwood - and starts from only $78 for an adult.
