BARRY HALL says the Swans'finals experience will be a crucial factor in Saturday's elimination finalagainst Collingwood at the MCG.

“We've played in big gamesand big finals before. There's probably nothing bigger than Collingwood at homein the finals. Everyone's pretty excited. It's going to be a big challenge, nodoubt,” the big forward said on Tuesday.

Hall was rested from theSwans' final regular season game last Sunday against Hawthorn, a tactic he sayswas “sensible” given a spate of injuries he's endured recently.

“I feel really good. Isuppose last week was a pretty sensible decision to sit out although the resultwas important to us going into a final series, the ladder position wasn't anissue.

“The niggles have certainlyresponded. And hopefully all goes well and I'll run out. We've done it beforewith me sitting out [a week prior to the finals] and it's worked well.”

But Hall is taking nothingfor granted ahead of Sydney's clash with the Pies. “I suppose, the wayCollingwood play, we respect them because they play a hard, contested style. It's how we like to play our footy and it's what we pride ourselves on.

“We've been disappointingin both those games. Playing them a few week ago, they know what they're goingto get. We know what we're going to get. But from our point of view, we knowwhere we lost last time. It's pretty black and white.

“I think it's all about usand our attitude and how we attack the game. Clearly it wasn't good enoughagainst Collingwood the previous two times. We've got to go into this week'sgame being able to tick that off and give ourselves a chance to win."

Hall will be assessed onThursday but is expected to play if he gets through training unscathed.

Headded: “Everyone in the competition loves to play Collingwood because theirfans are passionate and it's always a big occasion. There's nothing better thanbeating Collingwood. However, saying that and doing [are two different] things.”
