Round 9 v St Kilda

After winning their opening five games of the season, the Swans suffered their third loss in four matches going down to St Kilda by 28 points in Marty Mattner’s 200th match.

Despite leading at quarter-time the Swans could only manage four goals to St Kilda’s 11 in the next two terms, but did reduce the deficit in the final quarter.

Lewis Jetta kicked another three goals, while Ryan O’Keefe and Kieren Jack led the way for the Swans, but it wasn’t enough to get the team over the line as the Saints celebrated Lenny Hayes’ 250th game with a comfortable win.
