A win for the ages. After such an emotional week, the Swans travelled to Skilled Stadium and recorded their first win at the ground since 1999. It was Geelong’s first loss at their home ground since round 21, 2007.

A nice end to the year at the SCG, as the Swans proved too good for the Lions by 52 points. Goodes was at his best with 29 possessions and four goals - the first Swans player to receive a perfect 50 for three years.
