Sydney Swans spearhead Daniel Bradshaw will resume light running this week after having scans on his troublesome right knee.

Physiotherapist Matt Cameron told SwansTV in his weekly injury update, that Bradshaw’s knee had settled down, and that they would progress slowly with his rehabilitation.

“He is walking around pain free and he is due to start running this week. We will gradually progress his running, reload him and begin training, so we’re on the road again,” Cameron said.

“We’re going to have to take it session by session, we don’t want to train him only for him to get sore again, so we’ll be taking it carefully,” he said.

Cameron confirmed that despite being subbed off during Saturday night’s match against the West Coast Eagles, forward Sam Reid was all clear to play this week and was the simply the victim of cramp.

In some exciting news for youngster Campbell Heath, he is expected to resume skills training next week, nine-weeks after undergoing LARS knee surgery.

Trent Dennis-Lane, Jarred Moore and Tadhg Kennelly have all pulled up well from their run in the Reserves on Sunday, while Lewis Roberts-Thomson is a chance to make his return via the Reserves this week after overcoming a calf problem.
