In the third, and final, pre-season instalment of Marty Mattner's Dream Team talk, this week the Swans defender takes us through the line that it's usually his job to stop - the forwards.

"As defenders say, this is the showy area," Marty says about the forward line, but deep down he knows there are plenty of points that come with marks, kicks, and goals.

Here is who Marty currently has in his forward line for the beginning of the season:

Paul Chapman, Geelong ($506,300) - "Had a quiet year last year for his standards, so hopefully he can be a big scorer this year."

Adam Goodes, Sydney Swans ($491,000) - "Had him the last few years. He’s a really good player and has had a great pre-season."

Nick Riewoldt, St Kilda ($416,700) - "Another good player, looks in really good form."

Jonathan Brown, Brisbane Lions ($331,400) - "Had some injuries last year, hopefully he’s got over them."

Jason Porplyzia, Adelaide ($202,500) and Shannon Byrnes, Geelong ($197,900) - "Both quality players…have played a lot of AFL footy for the Adelaide and Geelong teams. They’re quality players who can score quiet heavily."

Tommy Walsh, Sydney Swans ($104,200) - "The big Irishman, Tommy Walsh. Can’t go past him at $104,000."

Dayne Zorko, Brisbane Lions ($104,200) and Curtly Hampton, GWS ($104,200) - "Some quality players who I think are going to go alright this year and increase in value and are good buys at $104,000 each."
