Sydney Swans midfielder Luke Parker has continued his outstanding start to the season earning another perfect 10 from the coaches for his 30 disposal performance against GWS.
Parker now sits seven votes clear on top of the AFL Coaches Association’s Champion Player of the Year award, ahead of Gold Coast’s Tom Lynch (22 votes) and Port Adelaide’s Robbie Gray (21).
The 23-year-old has now polled 29 of a possible 30 votes from his three matches.
Fellow midfielders Dan Hannebery (six votes) and Josh Kennedy (four votes) also caught the eye of John Longmire and Leon Cameron on Saturday night.
Hannebery kicked a critical goal in the final term to finish the match with 31 touches and two goals and Kennedy laid 13 tackles to go with his 29 disposals.
Key position pair Lance Franklin (four votes) and Heath Grundy (four votes) rounded out the votes for the Swans.
