The Sydney Swans congratulate Gary Rohan and his wife Amie, following the birth of their twin girls, Bella Rae and Willow Nevaeh.
The little girls came into the world on the morning of Thursday 12 April, Bella weighing 1780 grams and Willow 1295 grams.
Willow, who had been diagnosed with anencephaly, had five special hours with her mum and dad before “growing her angel wings”.
Amie and Bella are now resting in hospital.
Anencephaly is a fatal condition that prevents the formation of a baby’s brain and skull.
The love and thoughts of the Swans Board, staff and players are with Gary and Amie at this time.
