Ruckmen Shane Mumford and Mike Pyke will both be vying to make their returns from injury this weekend.

Mumford has missed the last three matches with knee soreness, while Pyke has not taken the field since sustaining a quad tear during the Swans win over the Western Bulldogs in round seven.

Swans physiotherapist Matt Cameron said both players would be out to prove their fitness at training this week.

“Both those guys did a session on their own yesterday in the rain, on the public holiday, and they’re due to start training tomorrow with the team, so they’ve got two sessions and then we will see how they go at the selection table.

Cameron revealed that speedster Gary Rohan was recovering well from a knee operation and had recommenced running. He is set to return to training next week.

Jed Lamb, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury could also return to training next week.
